This is your sign to make a dopamine menu

Replace mindless scrolling on your phone with more intentional alternatives.

Welcome back to The Digital Minimalist.

Each week, I share practical tips and tools to help you stay productive in our cluttered and distracting world.

Making your own Dopamine Menu

Dopamine Menu is a personalized menu of activities to replace mindless scrolling. See the example below.

dopaminemenu.app

Like a restaurant menu, you can browse and choose something you like.

The different categories make sure there’s something for every time of day, energy level, time available, or budget.

Here’s how to create your own dopamine menu:

  1. Go to dopaminemenu.app

  2. Fill in activities for each category

  3. Download your menu as an image

Lastly, keep your menu somewhere you’ll actually see it.

Set it as a favorite in your photo app, use it as your wallpaper, or print it out and pin it on your wall.
