Hello and Welcome!

Welcome back to The Digital Minimalist. Each week, I share actionable tips to stay productive in our cluttered and distracting world.

Minimalism is a Personal Journey

There’s always a more minimalist app, setup, or technology out there. You can always strip things down further.

We tend to rate and rank everything when we encounter alternatives or examples.

But I don’t blame us.

Humans naturally compare themselves to others.

As a semi-tech enthusiast with an iPhone and iPad, I’m far from being the “perfect” minimalist.

But I’ve grown into minimalism in my own way.

I realized we don’t need fancy colors and accessories, whether in our outfits, phone setups, or Notion templates.

To me, minimalism is the perfect blend of aesthetics and functionality.

It looks good (at least to my taste) and it works.

If you’re reading this, you’re probably on your own minimalism journey, just like me.

I want you to know there is no destination or level of minimalism to achieve.

What matters is making conscious decisions about what to add and being diligent in removing clutter and excess.

Quote of the Week

“Enough is a decision, not an amount.”

Alison Faulkner

Maybe we sometimes need to stop looking outward for the next level, standard, or achievement.

Perhaps we are already enough.

I hope you enjoyed this issue, and I will talk to you soon next week.
