Hello and Welcome!
Welcome back to Easlo's newsletter. Every week, I curate actionable tips to help supercharge your productivity and growth.
5 Actionable Tips to Stay Productive
Tip 1: Crush the small tasks
Instead of procrastinating, tackle small tasks right away. Completing them builds momentum and proves to yourself that you're capable of achieving what you set out to do. Make your bed, take out the trash, clean your dishes, or any other small tasks.
I have personally set a time limit on social media apps, blocking them until 5pm each day. This helps me stay focused and prevents me from getting sucked in to social media.
Tip 3: Be intentional in getting into flow state
Flow state is powerful for productivity, and you can be more intentional about getting into it. Take a toilet break, fill up your water, and listen to the same background music before starting challenging and creative work.
Tip 4: Give yourself well-deserved breaks
When you feel unproductive, don't force yourself to be productive again. Instead, give yourself a deserved break and spend the time detached from work.
Tip 5: Capture everything in an inbox
Whether it's a new task or an idea, write it down or put it into a digital inbox like Notion. This prevents you from having open loops in your mind that can clutter your thinking and focus.
Product of the Week: Glasp YouTube Summary
I want to share with you a Chrome extension that I recently discovered, which is great for helping me search for key points in a video.
This extension displays the transcript on the side of the video, allowing you to easily copy and paste it into ChatGPT to find the information you need.
Sometimes, I want to find a specific quote or message that I learned from a video, and in these cases, AI can help me retrieve what I need without having to rewatch the entire video.
Let me know if you find this helpful by replying to this email.

“If you really want to do something, you’ll find a way. If you don’t, you’ll find an excuse.”
Most people don't achieve their goals because they give up too early. Challenges and obstacles are bound to happen. As Ryan Holiday puts it, "the obstacle is the way." You have come this far in 2023, so let's keep going.
I hope you enjoyed this issue, and I will talk to you soon next week.
